It gets to me all the time. I do think it is very elegant. When I go home, I can take the subway to the regional train or walk to the "pont de l'alma" where the view is (imho) the best... I still have to do some nighttime photos where she is all twinkly.
When you are close to it you can see many details that make it more than just a pile of steel.
