On november 15, my dad and I participated in a Historic Car Rallye around my village.
In this kind of rallye, you are giving a map, a piece of transparent paper with roads traced on it and you have to figure out where to go. On your way, you need to note down some markers, and be at the check point within a certain amount of time with the correct markers written down on you sheet.
We had packed everything noted on our checklist: ruler marked with the scale from the map, highlighters
we are looking closely at the map for hidden spots... sometimes you HAVE to go through a parking lot and it is very difficult to notice on the map.
OK, our car is not that old, but at least it went through the mountain OK unlike ... me
I started to take photos of the surroundings, but i got car sick pretty bad very quickly...needless to say, we didn't participate in the challenge by night, even though we did the one on sunday morning. Our ranking was crap :-)
